The absolute masterpiece of Italian horror soundtracks for one of Lucio Fulci's most popular movies, The Beyond (AKA The Seven Doors of Death). Haunting, menacing and downright disturbing whilst also being a beautiful score. As the movie is set in Louisianna there's also a great trad-jazz tune thrown in too! It really doesn't get much better than this. Genius

this movie was my least fave of the trilogy, then it became my fave later on in life
This is what I feel one of the more underrated of the films. It packs a few scenes that are among the best in film history in what is triggered on another level. The ending compared to Suspiria I feel was a letdown. Suspiria's ending wasn't good enough in comparison to its other parts but with Inferno the ending was weak and was waiting for a grand final that never came with it. The potential for a truly great film was always there.

As much as I love Suspiria it makes me sad that Inferno seems to be overshadowed by it. Even with most Suspiria fans. Mother of Tears sucked though let's not talk about that one.

I remember this played when the boy turned into a zombie and woke and bit the mofo. Then he got shot the hell up.
If only Argento had made the third film in the trilogy back when it should have been made, in the 80s, in the same basic style as Susperia and Inferno. Mother of Tears came SO much later, and frankly, it's pretty awful. I don't even consider it canon.
In later years, Argento himself said he didn't have the energy or creative will to do Mother of Tears, which is why it's a masterclass in "meh." Real shame. A worthy closer to the trilogy would've been great.

The best ever horror soundtrack theme imo - from one of my 5 favourite British Horror films, in order: Witchfinder General (Another great soundtrack btw!)/The Wicker Man/Blood on Satan's Claw/Captain Kronos/Captain Clegg.
